Beyond Our Grasp
A story of defeat.
A picture of death.
Nothing remains of this world,
we have left.
Left to rot from its core.
Until our hearts have nothing more.
We are the barren.
We are the hopeless.
But light always survives,
hidden beyond our grasp.
This is the end, our hope has fallen.
Our Paper Paradise, is broken.
i love off topic stuff :) random inspiration can sometimes be for the best. i just wrote a poem the other day during worship and i haven't written a legit poem in a good couple years. it is always cool to see new material seem to bloom from nowhere.
