(The Legacy Inferno 1: Guardian) Album Summary
The chapter begins with an introduction introducing some things that are to be happen throughout the story! And also talks a little about Roy having nightmares, knowing that things for him are about to change. Then he discovers that his brother Nicholas is coming home, after leaving his family behind many years ago. Nicholas swore that he would never come back, and now that he has, old feelings of anger and remorse begin to surface in the family. Nicholas left while Aaron was very young, and its the first time he has seen him in a longtime. Roy is very angry that his brother has come home, Aaron doesn't even remember what he looked like, and seeing him again makes him angry as well. The family is overcome with a feeling of weakness. In this moment of weakness all three of the brothers seek out something much greater than themselves. In this moment three Guardians appear, and swear to protect them. Roy and Aaron decide that they don't want to spend another night in the house with Nicholas. So they decide to leave for a night, but what they don't know is that Nicholas had planned for them to leave. And has a little plot of his own, to finally get rid of his parents. During the night, Nicholas kills both of their parents, and then the next morning begins burning down their home. Roy returns and discovers that Nicholas has killed their parents. And witnesses the remains of their old home burn to the ground. Thats when Roy snaps, he attacks Nicholas and they fight eachother, wounding one another. But its their Guardians that appear and end the fight. This is the first moment they see eachothers Guardians. When the fight ends Nicholas disappears, and Roy goes searching for him, completly shocked at what he has just witnessed. Aaron comes home and Roy tells him everything, and Aaron becomes extremly angry! He is so struck with the tragedy of his parents death. But he agrees to follow Roy, in search for Nicholas. They discover his trail, but are shocked to discover a trail of bodies! They continue their search, and discover Nicholas. But he murders an innocent person right in front of them. Roy has reached his breaking point, and loses it. He attacks Nicholas with all he has, but each brother is commanding Aaron to pick a side, and end the fight. The pressure is too much for Aaron, so he pulls out a knife and stabs Roy in the chest. Roy falls shockingly to the ground, and is completly blown away at his brothers choice. Roy nearly dies, waiting their for death. But the last thing he see's before help arrives for him is his brothers disappearing, leaving him alone. Roy has been betrayed! Leaving our hearts, broken and severed.
Time has gone by.
But I still live in regret.
Waiting for our last moment.
To shed some light.
This is it, a chapter ends.
For another to begin.
